Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is 66 sq km of Unesco World Heritage site on the upper stretch of the Zambezi River.  Protected since 1972 the park is full of diverse wildlife, birds and plant species and also home to a handful of the only surviving rare white rhinos left in Zambia. Livingstone Walking Tours has special access to these remarkable creatures that are watched 24 hours a day by armed guards. You’ll be able to get closer than you ever believed and take memorable photos.  We believe our walking tours in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park are a life-changing experience that no visitor to Zambia should ever miss.

The park rangers and guides have been protecting the area for over thirty years. There's nothing they won't be able to tell you about this very special stretch of African bush. Charming, knowledgeable and entertaining we're enormously proud of their tremendous work to promote and protect the park .

Getting this close to the only surviving white rhinos in Zambia is a truly magical experience. You'll be able to take home incredible pictures and videos of these rare rhinos roaming free in their natural habitat. Sit very still and quietly and you'll be unbelievably mesmerised by this unique spectacle.

After the walk you'll sit in the shade and talk with the guides, rangers and fellow visitors about what you've seen - but don't be surprised if you're speechless at the sheer wonder of it all. Don't worry - we'll make sure you have plenty of iced drinks and home-made snacks to cool your excitement!
